This Commission Agreement forms part of the Hotel/Property Partner Agreement between Brichdigitals, operator of 237booking.com (“237booking”), and businesses listed on the platform (“Partners”). It applies to Partners on a commission-based arrangement.

1. What commission is charged on

Commission is due on every booking that a customer makes through 237booking — via the booking form, the “Details/Book” button, our WhatsApp or phone lines, or a 237booking referral — and that results in a stay, event, trip or service being delivered (“Completed Booking”).

No commission is due on bookings cancelled in line with the applicable cancellation policy where the Partner keeps no payment. Where the Partner keeps a deposit or no-show charge, commission applies to the amount kept.

2. Commission rate

The standard commission rate is 5% (five percent) of the total amount paid by the customer for each Completed Booking, excluding government taxes and levies. For example, on a 20,000 FCFA booking the commission is 1,000 FCFA. A different rate applies only if 237booking agrees it with you in writing (by WhatsApp or email). Any change to the rate will be notified at least 30 days in advance and applies only to bookings made after the change.

3. Reporting bookings

  • Confirm or update the status of each booking (completed, cancelled, no-show) within 3 days of the check-out, event or service date.
  • Bookings not updated within that time may be treated as completed at the booked price.
  • Do not move customers referred by 237booking to direct bookings to avoid commission. Repeat stays by the same customer within 12 months of a 237booking referral remain commissionable.

4. Invoicing and payment

  • 237booking issues a monthly statement of Completed Bookings and commission due, usually in the first week of the following month.
  • Commission must be paid within 10 days of the statement date by MTN Mobile Money or Orange Money to the official 237booking numbers.
  • Where 237booking collects a customer’s prepayment, we may deduct the commission before transferring the balance to you.
  • Query any item on a statement within 7 days; undisputed amounts remain payable on time.

5. Late or unpaid commission

If commission is unpaid 15 days after the due date, we may reduce your listing’s visibility, pause new booking requests, or suspend the listing until the balance is settled. Amounts owed remain payable after termination.

6. Records and audit

Partners must keep reasonable records of bookings received from 237booking for at least 12 months and share them on request to resolve any discrepancy.

7. Term and termination

This Commission Agreement continues for as long as you are listed on a commission-based arrangement and ends with the Partner Agreement. Commission on bookings made before termination remains due.

8. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon. Disputes will first be settled amicably, failing which the competent courts of Yaoundé have jurisdiction.
