These Booking Conditions apply whenever you make a booking or reservation request through 237booking.com, its booking forms, or the WhatsApp and phone contacts shown on a listing. They sit alongside our Terms & Conditions, Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.
1. Our role
237booking is a booking and listings platform operated by Brichdigitals in Yaoundé, Cameroon. We connect you with independent hotels, venues, restaurants, transport operators and other service providers (“Partners”). The service itself is provided by the Partner, and your contract for that service is with the Partner. We help arrange the booking, pass on your details, and support you if something goes wrong.
2. Making a booking
- You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking, and you are responsible for every person included in it.
- Give accurate details: full name, phone number (preferably WhatsApp), email, dates, times and number of guests.
- A booking request is not confirmed until the Partner or 237booking confirms it to you by the platform, SMS, WhatsApp or email.
- Keep your booking reference and confirmation message; you may be asked to show it on arrival.
3. Prices
- Prices are shown in Central African CFA francs (FCFA) and are set by the Partner.
- Unless stated otherwise, prices are per night (stays), per hour (short stays), per event (halls) or per trip/day (transport).
- Local taxes, tourist levies, service charges, extra-guest fees or deposits may apply and should be shown on the listing or confirmed before you pay.
- We work to keep prices accurate. If an obvious pricing error is found, we or the Partner may correct it before confirmation, and you may then cancel at no cost.
4. Payment
Depending on the listing, you may pay a deposit or the full amount in advance through MTN Mobile Money or Orange Money, or pay the Partner directly on arrival. See our Payment Terms for details.
5. Check-in, arrival and identification
- Respect the check-in, check-out, appointment or departure times given by the Partner.
- Hotels and transport operators may ask for a valid ID card or passport for every adult guest, as required in Cameroon.
- If you will arrive late, inform the Partner in advance, otherwise the booking may be treated as a no-show.
6. Your conduct
You agree to follow the Partner’s house rules and to use premises, vehicles and equipment with care. The Partner may refuse service or end a stay without refund for violent, illegal or seriously disruptive behaviour, and may charge you for damage you cause.
7. Special requests
Requests such as early check-in, room type, decorations or dietary needs are passed to the Partner but are not guaranteed unless the Partner confirms them.
8. Listing information and reviews
Listing descriptions, photos and amenities are provided by Partners. We check listings before they go live, but cannot guarantee that every detail is complete or current. Please report anything inaccurate to us. Reviews must reflect your genuine experience.
9. Liability
The Partner is responsible for delivering the booked service. To the extent permitted by Cameroonian law, 237booking is not liable for loss, injury or damage arising from a Partner’s service, but we will help you resolve complaints. Nothing in these conditions limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
10. Complaints
Raise any problem with the Partner on the spot so it can be fixed quickly. If it is not resolved, contact us within 7 days of your booking date with your reference and details.
